Our very own Rachel Thain has been presented with the DASLS Legal 'Hero' of the Year Award by Joshua Rozenberg, Britain's best known legal commentator and former BBC legal correspondent.
At the awards ceremony in March 2016 Rachel was commended by the judges for her dedication and commitment in the field of abuse law. She was judged to have demonstrated what it means to go beyond the 'extra mile' for her clients.
Rachel was thrilled to receive the award at the prestigious event where the President of the Law Society made an impassioned speech about threats to access to justice which he described as being 'under siege'.
We are delighted that Rachel's tireless efforts on behalf of abuse victims nationwide have been publicly recognised. Well done Rachel!
