The Harrods Redress Scheme is closing on 31 March 2026
The Harrods Redress Scheme will close to new applications on 31 March 2026.
If Mohamed Al-Fayed abused you during your employment at Harrods, or in circumstances connected to his role as Chairman, you may still be eligible to apply. However, with the deadline approaching quickly, anyone considering an application should seek advice as soon as possible.
Over the past twelve months, we have supported a number of women through the scheme. Some were teenagers when they were targeted. Others were at the very start of promising careers. Many had lived with what happened for years before finally feeling able to speak about it.
Coming forward often takes time and courage. But with the scheme closing at the end of March, there is now limited time to take professional legal advice and make your claim.
Preparing an application is not something that can be done overnight. Medical records may need to be requested. Decisions may then be required whether to proceed under the medical or non-medical pathway. Applicants understandably also need space to decide whether making an application feels right for them.
Seeking legal advice now does not commit you to proceeding. It simply ensures that you understand your options before the scheme closes, and you lose the opportunity.
How we can help with your Harrods compensation claim
We specialise in acting for survivors of abuse and have been closely involved with the Harrods Redress Scheme since its development.
Applications under the Scheme are handled at no charge to the client. Eligible applicants will receive 100% of their compensation, with no deductions for legal fees.
We approach every case with sensitivity and care. There is no obligation to proceed simply because you make contact. Many people initially reach out simply to understand whether they qualify and what the process would involve.
With only weeks remaining until 31 March 2026, now is the time to seek advice.
If you think you may be eligible, even if you are unsure, we encourage you to make contact urgently.
